I love these "R2D2" mailboxes; I love that the Post Office has a wacky enough sense of humor to use them; and I love that Traverse City has one, in front of the main post office.
People always think their generation is special, but I am of the "Star Wars" generation, and this must be proof that we are special :-)

Oh my gawd. Synchonicity! I saw one of these for the first time outside the market in O.P.
Yeah, I was there standing in line opening week in L.A. I was 12. Yeah we bad.
