I had a marvelous season of light, including presenting ten services in 22 days (including an interfaith Vespers) and attending two more (including a marvelous Solstice service). One of the nicest gifts so far was this candleholder made of ice, that somebody left in our yard, anonymously:


It was even interesting to look at, five days later:

May the new year bring us all the gifts of darkness and the gifts of light.
