modeling by staying alive

In the last ten days, I've had three different people ask me about my heart surgery, four years ago. Each was facing something similar, and sought confidence (and solace?) from my experience. It doesn't feel like I did much--somehow, with a lot of other peoples' help, I continued to breathe--but I am touched and happy to share my story.
